Digital ticket distribution and engagement solution, Tixserve, has today announced that it has been shortlisted for Best Match Day Experience Technology in The STA Group 2023 Sports Technology Awards.
The Sports Technology Awards, labelled "The Oscars of Sports Technology" is recognised as the leading international mark of excellence and celebrates the best tech-led innovations in sports around the world. Owned and operated by The STA Group, a multifaceted sports technology business, whose mission is to identify, inform and celebrate the world's leading sports technologies and the brands which embrace them.
The gala ceremony, which is moving from London to New York City for the first time, will take place on 18th May and will be presented in association with NBC Sports Next.
After four months of accepting entries, 52 industry experts - from leading global organisations such as Ticketmaster Sport, Manchester United, Premier League, FIFA and Formula 1 - spent an estimated 200 hours reviewing countless entries, from hundreds of brands, to bring a shortlist of 20 categories. About the Best Match Day Experience Technology category
This category celebrates technology that is positively affecting match day experience for fans, and the commercial operations of a club, tournament, sports organisation, venue and sponsor.
The Best Match Day Experience Technology category has been shortlisted to six brands - one of which includes Tixserve - and the winner of the category will be announced on 18th May.
The STA Group commented:
"The Sports Technology Awards' shortlist was determined by over 50 industry experts who spent, collectively, around 200 hours reviewing the entries. The competition, as always, was fierce so being on the shortlist is a huge achievement."
